After an 18-year career with the Los Angeles Times, fashion writer and critic Booth Moore will take her talents to another west-coast publication — The Hollywood Reporter.
According to Fashionista.com, Moore will assume the role of senior fashion editor for both the print version of the magazine as well as its online counterpart, Pret-a-Reporter. In addition to these duties, Moore “will direct the fashion vertical and its video content. She’ll also co-produce the publication’s yearly fashion and beauty lists, including the influential ‘25 Most Powerful Stylists‘ ranking, with style editor Carol McColgin,” says Fashionista.
The Hollywood Reporter‘s deputy editor Jeanie Pyun explained the publication’s excitement over Moore’s arrival this way, according to Fashionista: “Booth’s well-respected and long-cultivated expertise on fashion and beyond in Los Angeles is unparalleled — we’re truly excited to welcome her to the Style team.”
Moore also commented on her new role with the magazine, telling Fashionista in an email, “I’ve long admired The Hollywood Reporter and can’t wait to work with the team on expanding the fashion and lifestyle coverage.”
