SJP launches new LBD collection

Style and Sarah Jessica Parker just seem to go hand-in-hand — look no further than her red carpet appearances and her work on Sex and the City for proof. But even though the actress has since moved on to another project (Divorce, airing on HBO), Parker is still attached to fashion, so much so that she’s releasing a dress line.

According to WWD, Parker is set to unveil an all-black dress line called “SJP LBD,” with all the pieces in the collection said to be made in the United States. Sold exclusively at Bloomingdale’s, the first of the LBD line will debut in October, reports WWD.

While entering the clothing arena is a new endeavor for Parker, WWD says that she also has a two-year-old shoe line, as well as a new fragrance that launched in August called, “Stash,” the “bad-girl foil” to her other fragrance, “Lovely.”

Maddie & Tae team up with Bloomingdale’s for new clothing line

A new clothing line is set to hit Bloomingdale’s just in time for a fresh fall style — and it’s coming from the minds of your favorite country duo.

According to Nash Country Daily, Maddie and Tae are trying out their hand at fashion design, partnering with Bloomingdale’s in-house brand, AQUA, to create a fashionable new clothing collection called “AQUA x Maddie & Tae.”

Set to include everything from dresses and skirts to blazers and tanks, Maddie Marlow said in a statement that the line is designed to be “fresh and fun for everyone,” Nash Country Daily reports

“AQUA does everything girls like us want!” Marlow said. “Super-fun pieces and stuff that’s hip without screaming ‘fashion victim’ — things you can really wear. And the best part, pieces come in all kinds of colors and fits, so everyone gets to be part of the party.”

The duo’s Taylor Dye also shared that the collection will take into account the many different occasions that accompany a busy lifestyle like that of the singers.

“And AQUA is dress up and dress down – go to school, go to work, go out kind of clothes,” Dye said, according to Nash Country Daily. “No matter where you’re going or what you’re doing, AQUA’s got you covered all in one place! When you’re busy like we are, AQUA makes it so easy.”

Available in stores and online in mid-August, Nash Country Daily says AQUA x Maddie & Tae will retail between $38 and $498.
