Margot Robbie effortlessly brought the character of Harley Quinn to life in Suicide Squad, and now the actress is set to star in another DC Villains film — this time, with an all-female cast.
According to the Huffington Post, Robbie signed to work with Suicide Squad director David Ayer for an all-female driven DC Villains film called Gotham City Sirens.
“Inspired by the Sirens comic book series starring Quinn alongside other classic Gotham City baddies like Catwoman and Poison Ivy,” the Huffington Post says “the film will reportedly feature the ‘top female villains from the DC stable.'”
So far, the Huffington Post reports that Robbie will star in and executive produce the film, while Ayer will direct and produce. Screenwriter for Sherlock 3 Geneva Robertson-Dworet is working on the script, according to HuffPost.
