Conrad to add plus sizes to Kohl’s line

Lauren Conrad’s Kohl’s line is slowly becoming more inclusive, first with maternity clothing and now with plus sizes.

According to WWD, Conrad’s LC Lauren Conrad brand is expanding to include plus-size offerings, with her entire limited-edition runway capsule collection debuting at New York Fashion Week on Sept. 6. Now featuring sizes 0X to 3X, Glamour reports the brand launched its new plus styles in a partnership with blogger Loey Lane, who starred in a photoshoot to show off some of the new looks from the runway collection.

Lane also shared her frustrations with plus clothing, says WWD, writing, “Can’t I just wear whatever I want? Why wouldn’t anyone just wear what makes them comfortable and happy and not think about how others feel about the garments they’re putting on their own bodies?”

Ready for Conrad’s latest collection? Glamour says the new styles will include “holiday-ready velvet, metallics, and faux fur,” and will retail between $12 and $154.

Conrad unveils swimwear line at Kohl’s

Lauren Conrad’s Kohl’s line is about to get a little bigger.

According to PopSugar, the multi-hyphenate is launching her first-ever “Beach Collection” under her LC Lauren Conrad line, which is set to include “swimwear (both one-pieces and bikinis meant to be mixed and matched), airy drawstring shorts, off-the-shoulder dresses, and other warm-weather essentials, starting at $34.”

Maxing out at $68, PopSugar says the collection has a resort-like feel with tropical prints, with Conrad adding that she chose “very fun colors, like hunter green and paprika, and then some really pretty peaches-and-cream.”

Candie’s gets a creative director

An accessible fashion and accessory line for juniors, Candie’s has been a staple at Kohl’s department stores since 2005. But for the first time ever, the brand is getting a creative director to aid in their upcoming ad campaigns.

According to InStyle, Candie’s has enlisted the help of Sarah Hyland to take on the first position of its kind within the company. The first item on the job description for the 25-year-old Modern Family actress will be to take a starring role in the brand’s fall 2016 and spring 2017 campaigns.

But her duties won’t end there. Hyland will not only offer her style expertise and provide an overall creative vision for the brand, InStyle says she will also style the fall back-to-school campaign.

While InStyle notes that previous campaigns from Candie’s have included the likes of Britney Spears, Vanessa Hudgens and Fifth Harmony, Hyland has already expressed her excitement to not only follow suit in becoming a “Candie’s girl,” but also in assuming the role of the brand’s first creative director.

“I grew up looking at Candie’s ads and hearing my friends’ experiences as Candie’s girls, Hyland said in a statement, “but the added influence of being named the first Creative Director is really exciting for me. I love fashion, it’s part of who I am.”

Eager to start her new position, Hyland said, “I love that I get to have influence on this line because not only are the clothes really fashion-forward, but they are offered at an affordable price-point, which means fans of mine can afford what we’re selling.”

Although Fashion Week wrapped up in New York City last week, the parade of this year’s newest fashions is continuing across the pond in London, and the shows are shaping up to be just as much about as those in attendance as the styles making their way down the runway.

Dressed in head-to-toe Burberry, the model wore a military-inspired coat over a pintuck blouse, which she paired with wide-legged trousers. She completed her look with a cool chain-link bag.

One of those fashionable ladies in attendance was Rashida Jones, who rocked printed shorts with a black button-down shirt and a black cardigan. Jones completed her look with black closed-toe ankle strap pumps and a simple clutch.

The start of summer often comes with an all-new TV lineup, and last night, TLC debuted its “TLC Summer Friday” shows. The first of the three shows in the lineup was one of THL’s favorites, Stacy London’s “Love, Lust, or Run.”

While it is fun to watch a ‘style caterpillar’ turn into a chic, fashionable butterfly, what is perhaps the best part about the show is London’s killer style; it’s hard not to drool over her clothing, her accessories and especially her shoes! “Love, Lust, or Run,” now in its second season, has added a new feature to their website in which viewers can find the exact pieces that both London and her contributors wear on the show. This feature, which works with Stylinity, a quasi-social networking site finds the exact articles of clothing and accessories worn in photos, allowing viewers to shop the look instantaneously — a perfect tool when you want to shop one of London’s to-die-for ensembles!

The new Stylinity feature helped us find the beautiful lace pumps London wore last night, which we had our eyes on from the first five minutes of the show! London was wearing gorgeous Manolo Blahnik BB Lace and Satin Pumps, available at Saks Fifth Avenue for $695.

Stacy, we love your Manolos, but $695 isn’t in the budget for us! But, we found similar pumps by ShoeMint that will allow us and all of your other faithful followers to mimic your style! The ShoeMint Classic Women’s Lace Dress High Heel offers a very similar look to London’s Manolos, imitating their pointy-toe style as well as their see-through lace. However, these pumps are available at for only $54.99!
