Every day can feel like the Met Gala, thanks to a brand-new makeup collection by Pat McGrath.
According to PopSugar, the famed makeup artist “teamed up with NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art (which hosts the event) to launch a line of apparel and makeup inspired by the gala’s theme, ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.'”
The mini-collection includes three pieces, all of which infuse the Met Gala theme in ways both subtle and blatant. For example, the brand’s Lust gloss will now be available in “Aliengelic,” says PopSugar, a “hydrating topcoat that applies like a balm or treatment while giving your pout a three-dimensional shine.”
Also included in the line is a five-pan palette called “Mothership IV: Decadence,” which PopSugar says features colors such as rose gold and turquoise. Finally, the Met Gala-themed collection offers two T-shirt styles, reports PopSugar, the product of a collaboration with the museum that produced a long-sleeve look that showcases a 13th-century statue from the Met Collection and another that features a gold foil Cloisters-inspired crown.
Available both online and at the museum starting May 8, PopSugar says the collection’s gloss sells for $28, while the palette retails for $125 and the long-sleeve T-shirt goes for $82.

Time to make some space in your makeup bag, because a brand-new lipgloss is here just in time to polish off your spring looks.
According to Fashionista, Pat McGrath Labs has just released a new line of 14 “blindingly shiny, intensely moisturizing, beautifully pigmented” lip gloss shades. Called “Lust,” McGrath explained that the product was designed to be both easy and luxurious.
“I wanted to have something really comfortable and easy and fun to wear the way that a lip balm is,” she told Fashionista. “The fact that it’s non-sticky, the fact that there’s a little oil in [the formula] gives you that comfort. It’s just so easy to apply.”
The gloss marks the first time McGrath has released pigmented glosses, says Fashionista, which include a range of colors from “creamy nudes to pigmented reds and pinks to holographics.”
As for how much these glosses cost, Fashionista reports that individual glosses “will retail for $28 a pop, and will also be sold in four-piece kits, separated into warm and cool tones ($95) and a comprehensive 14-piece set which includes every shade ($325).”
Available May 10, you can shop the line here.
MAC is about to release the modern revamp of our favorite ’90s makeup pleasures.
According to PopSugar, the makeup brand has teased new versions of their popular Lipglass, which apparently taste and smell like desserts, fruit and all things sweet.
While specifics on the new glosses are far from clear, PopSugar said that the shades and their adjoining scents include “Death by Chocolate, which is a moody purple. Banana Muffins is a bold orange, Coconut Macaroon is rose gold, Funfetti Cake is an iridescent silver, Raspberry Cream is a punchy berry, and Strawberry Torte is red, obviously.”
If these really smell and taste like their namesakes, we’re all in for a treat — literally.
As if we all didn’t love Fenty Beauty enough, the cosmetics company is giving us a little extra to appreciate — literally.

Your fall beauty haul is about to get a major upgrade, thanks to Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty line.
According to Glamour, while the highly-secretive line will finally make its debut on Friday, Sept. 8, the “Wild Thoughts” singer released three campaign teasers late last week, and it is already shaping up to be a collection worth splurging on.
HelloGiggles reports that the line likely consists of “a wide array of eyeshadows, lip products, and highlighters,” which will surely be a welcome addition to any makeup bag this fall. But beyond the technicalities of what products are included in the line, the campaign is also drawing attention for its inclusive representations of beauty. One of the first ads for the line features models such as Halima Aden, Slick Woods, Camila Costa and Paloma Elsesser, says Glamour, all of whom contribute to the overall diversity of the project.
One model included in the project, Leomie Anderson, seemed to have summed up the motto of Fenty Beauty perfectly when she wrote on Instagram that is is “the beauty brand for girls who know who the f-ck they are and aren’t afraid to show it.”
Ready for some Rihanna in your life? Be sure to check out Sephora on Sept. 8 for a chance at some of these Fenty products.
