Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown does not want a young fan feeling down — especially on his birthday.
So when the actor caught wind of a tweet from Twitter user Ayen Alambat, who shared photos of his brother Aaron’s Stranger Things-themed birthday party, Mashable reports that the young starlet knew she had to do something.
The tweet in question contained four photos of Aaron’s party, says Mashable, with a caption that read, “my brother invited 8 of his classmates for his stranger things themed bday party & none of their punk selves showed up.”
As the tweet picked up steam — and garnered well over 60,000 retweets in Aaron’s support — Mashable says Brown eventually caught wind of it a few days later, and retweeted it herself with a sweet message:
“What!!!! Oh Well You can let them all know that everyone on behalf on Stranger things would’ve come! I think your awesome and next year I would like an invite… Please? “
Let’s hope Millie’s support lifted Aaron’s spirits!
After returning to television with a spot on the hit series, “Stranger Things,” Winona Ryder already has a new role to prepare for.
According to W magazine, the actor recently sealed the deal to serve as a brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris. Specifically working on their “Elvive Hair Care” campaign, W reports that the ad series “celebrates the fact that hair can make a comeback from damage.”
With the campaign aligning with Ryder’s ‘comeback kid’ storyline, Senior Vice President of Marketing at L’Oréal Paris Anne Marie Nelson-Bogle told WWD that dry, color-treated hair deserves the same second chance.
“Everyone does love a comeback, and we will be communicating that damaged hair deserves one, too,” she said. “For Winona, we know that from TV sets to the red carpet, her hair has gone through many transformations—her hair is dry and damaged.”
Ryder made her [second] comeback in an ad spot that debuted during the recent telecast of the Golden Globes, says W, starring alongside singer Camila Cabello and actor Aja Naomi King.
Millie Bobby Brown is not only known as 11 on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, she is also becoming one to watch on red carpets. As People reports, the actress has worn a custom Armani creation to the SAG Awards and scored a place as the face of the new Calvin Klein by Appointment line — all at 12 years old.
Now, the young star is set to add another item to her fashion resume: a signed model. People reports that Brown officially landed a modeling contract with IMG, a global modeling agency that boasts names such as Chrissy Teigen, Gal Gadot and Hari Nef.
While People says we will have to wait until Brown is the regulation age of 16 to see her take her turn down the runway, we’re pretty sure that — judging by her recent fashion moments — it will be well worth the wait.
